Rough Life in Iraq

Life gets rough in Iraq. Sometimes you just need to relax with a cigar, fake beer, and some BBQ.

As long as the BBQ is real beef or real chicken. (BBQ made of fake pork, OTOH, is mentioned in the Geneva Accords as a war crime...)

The BBQ was real beef, real chicken, real lamb, and real pork. I don't think the pork ribs ever got cooked, but some brauts were cooked and enjoyed.

The best part was cutting into a steak that was actually medium rare and juicy. DFAC steaks are all cooked well done at a minimum. On the other hand, DFAC BBQ pork tends to be fantastic, go figure.

I do believe that attempting to serve someone fake meat in a war zone is internationally recognized as justifiable homicide.
