I am such a Geek

"You are such a geek", our friend Robert declares as he wanders up behind me while I'm buried in concentration flying my radio controlled helicopter. Earlier in the day the weather was perfect and I got in a solid 30 minutes of flying around the basketball court. There was a group of Afghani day laborers who were utterly fascinated the entire time and quite disappointed when I had to go in because of the wind starting to pick up.

After lunch the wind died off and I was able to get some more flying in before Robert snuck up behind me. We chatted for a few minutes while I was flying and I commented that "it's much more difficult than it looks". The helicopter then decided it needed to prove it's mettle with a head on attack on an uparmored HMMVV. The helicopter definitely lost. I don't think the HMMVV noticed. On the upside the only damage was a dent in the plastic cowling and two more broken blades, which only took a minute to replace.

I had three or four people ask me how much, where, etc and I pointed them at My RC Supply, which I've been very happy with.
